Can Melafix go into scars?

I was adding some Melafix to my 1gal Betta tank and I well spilled a bit on my hand. I forgot I had a small scar right there... I didn't think Melafix would do anything so I just ignored it. I cleaned up the spill and washed my hands. A little later my scar started to sting... a lot
Is this the Melafix affecting my scar or something else?

Might have a bit of a reaction to it. It contains tea tree oil if I remember right so it souldn't give you too much grief. I say too much cause everyone is different.

metaflex is a natural herbal med so i shuldn't do anything bad ur scar migh dissapear .

but u might just be having a bad reaction to it so if ur worried that it's gonna kill u then go c ur doctor

The tea tree oil is not usually too harsh on your skin. it is a natural astrigent, used a lot for facial acne or breakouts. You could just be having a reaction to it.
