I recently bought a twin bar 150w Metal Halide, however I want to use it for my plant tank. Can I find bulb which suitable for plant tanks in this kind of pendant light? Meanwhile, I was a little worried that light will be
too strong. 300w

any suggestions? Many thanks

depends what plants you'll be having, if you have CO2, ferts, and the size of the tank.

just normal plants, I currently have a 3ft, 4ft. I intent to go to 5 or 6ft. I think 300w is too strong for even
6ft. esp. I have no idea where can I get plant light bulb for Halide?

Halide bulbs can be found here.
Any of the top 3 are fine to use.

Or..
Arcadia Freshwater 150w Double Ended Metal Halide Tube

They'll fit I'm sure. Do these bulbs look like the ones that came with the pendant?

Edit. As for 300W over the 6ft. You can use it but just suspend the lamps over the tank at a large distance. This decreases the intensity and will actually make things more managable with regards to how much ferts/CO2 you have to add. Start with about 20" to 24" and judge from there.
