Can I Trim Roots On Anubias And Onion Plants?

Well I trimmed the roots as advised and my onion plants are starting to die off from the leaf down, they are going yellow and holey
My anubias are fine
Any ideas?

just cut the dying leaves off. It is strange but maybe it is just adjusting slightly as you have disturbed it, a bit like crypt melt.
Mine never used to do that and i uprooted regualrly to make sure it didnt take over the hole tank lol

Perhaps it's because I've had problems with my filter and had to have it turned off for a few days
