Can I Soak My Mopani Wood In The Bath Tub?

Lol - I'm a little short on buckets these days and I've just bought several pieces of mopani wood for my tank. Can I soak them in the bath? I don't use it because I have a separate shower but will it stain the what I guess is PVC?

How big are we talking? I put bogwood in the toilet system. Fresh water every flush

i soaked a piece of bog wood in my bath to get it to sink for 5 days straight, when i drained the water out, the bath had gone a brownish colour from the tannins. A quick wipe down with some regular bathroom cleaner around the bath left no evidence whatsoever

well the little bits may fit in there lol but I've got some bigger ones that won't

I used a rubbermaid and it didn't stain the plastic which is more porus. I would think it would be safe. A bleach spray and wipe down after should do it.
