Can I Put Neon Tetras With Guppy's?

I have 7 Guppys now after one of them got caught in the filter! I have moved them to a newer, bigger and better tank wich is 35 gallon. My mum wants me to have some neon tetras because she thinks there nice but will they go with my guppys as they are fin nippers!

I kept them with guppys and had no problems.
I would go with cardinals alot hardier and don't have to worry about ntd.

I have 5 male guppies and 8 Neon Tetra in my 90lt tank and I've never had a problem, the two breeds really have no interest in each other.
