Can I Put Bogwood On Silver Sand ?

hello i have changed my tank around to silver sand and i have had never had anything else but gravel and bog wood but now i have silver sand and rocks but i give my dad my lovely golden nugget pleco but i want to breed plecos now will i need to set up another tank and if so what is the minimum tank size i can breed plecos in but back to the main question can i put bogwood on my sand or will it cause like a thing over the sand thanks

and btw my tank is 110litres juwel rekord 800 thanks
