i want to have quite a high tech planted tank, but im not too fussed about how fast the plamts grow, i just want them to be healthy

i have 2 40w t8 bulbs in 240l i think about 1.2wpg

i will dose tropica plant nutrition +

i dont want to have co2. or could i just have diy?

can demanding plants survive under theses conditions?

Under that light probably (I am guessing they are 48" full length of the tank (Is the ballast they are running off 40W or 32W...not that it matters ;) )

Without CO2 no. I tend to think of these 'light demanding' plants as actually being CO2 demanding plants.

Would be a struggle on that size tank :( DIY is only really any good for smaller tanks <70Ltr although many people would disagree with me :).
