Can I Have Cherry Shrimp In My Tank?

its a 125l tank curently home to 5 neon tetras and a sailfin plec . i was looking at getting around 10 of the shrimp if its possible to keep them. What to they eat and are they hard to keep. What other wierd varitys could i keep in my tank.

i dont know about your plec...but mine doesnt bother with my 2 amano shrimp...i think most peope have either amano or cherry shrimp as there choice of shrimp
