I have in my 55 gallon

5 male platties,
1 female swordtail
1 male guppy, dont know if he is still alive though as I havent seen him for a while
3 Corries
2 kribs
1 dojo loach
1 rainbow shark
3 angel fish
2 ottos
1 rubber lip pleco

I would like to get some more if possible. It is planted and has a lot of hiding places.

Yes you have plenty of room left.

I am stupmed as of what to get.

Any suggestions?

I'm not very familiar with community fish but from what I can see you have a nice variety now. Might want to consider adding more numbers of what you already have. Personally I think an aquarium with too many different species of fish looks like a cluster funk tank (yes that is an 'n' not a 'c').

just a suggestion here but maybe another 2 angels, because i thought angels were happier with more in the "shoal". also maybe some cories? just 3 together would be a little lonely. what type are they? maybe even two female guppies for mr. guppy in there... ;) lol

apart from that, if you have lots of money some fancy l numbers always go down well. some of them are so pretty!

there just my suggestions, i mean its your choice, whichever you like!

oh yea, and atm im a real gourami fan. banded gouramis are so colourful and peal gouramis are real nice too!

ok, im gona shut up now. i could go on all night... :D

go on then, lol.

well, I will be getting 3 more corries. Also, I do think the guppy did die, I think the kribs may have done him in sadely, as he was very pretty.

definately go with some more cories. they are awesome little fish. If you are planning on keeping the fry from the platies and guppies i wouldnt advise anymore because you will soon be over run with little babies.

they die within a few months any ways. the platties are all male though.

I'd agree with adding more corys. Make sure you get teh same species though. Sometimes different species will school together but not always.

Apart from more corys, i would go for another female and male swordtail as your 1female swordtail will be a little lonely. Im a big fan of livebearers so if your male guppy has died i would go out and get another male one and 2 or 3 females?

I think though the kribs may have killled it, I can always put them into my other tank though.
