hey there, was just wondering if i can add my first fish to my new tank water paramaters has been stable for week and a half after adding a few cuc..

ammonia = 0
nitrite = 0
nitrate = 25 ( a bit high,waiting for my chaetomorphia to come) and doing weekly water changes..
PH = 8.5
SG = 1025
Temp = 26 C
Phosphate = 0.1

only wanna add 1 fish for the time being a sebae clown.. and add another fish 3 weeks after that,wanna take it slow..

thanks

Yup you should be absolutely fine to add a fish.

How big's your tank? I'd reccomend just doing a 100% waterchange with matched salinity and temperature before adding fish just to get rid of those nitrates ;). Faster than weekly water changes :lol:

yeah its accurate,tested my RO water that goes into the tank its at 10 wich i will like my tank to be as well.

im using a product called bio-nitraclear that u add 60ml per week,its live bacteria that starve algae forming bacteria and by that lower nitrates, it works actually just very slowly..

do i need algae on my glass and substrate for snails,brittlestars and crabs ? i have only coraline on my rocks but my glass is spkanking clean

lol what a way to waste your money... just as one aquarist to another, throw that stuff away, first of all there arent "algae causing bacteria" There is algae..... and there is bacteria..... second.... algae lowers nitrates, your product says it gets rid of algae and therefor getting rid of nitrates, its the opposite....
