Can I feed my bloodfin tetras with Bettamin Select Food?

My wife went to the LFS and bought fish food and didn't realize that it was betta food.The fish food contains BettaMin flakes,Freeze dried shrimp,and Tetrabetta mini pellets.Just wondering if I can feed my fish with the food.

Yes, your fish will be fine.

There's really not an awful lot if difference between different fish foods, unless they're specially formulated for a totally different kind of fish.

For example, a lot of people think that because corydoras are catfish they can live on algae wafers, but not all catfish are algae eaters and, in fact, coydoras need a much meatier food as their staple, although an algae wafer here and there wouldn't do any harm.

In your case, however, there really isn't a great deal of difference in the natural diets of tetras and bettas, so you won't have a problem using that food
