Can I Do This Daily

Hello...i hav just bought a bristlenose catfish despite the fact that i had bad incidents with my previous bristlenose leading to sickness and sadly death...I don't want this bristlenose to pass away since i really like these fish... So can i clean my tank by siphoning the gravel daily or once every 2 days...Will this cleaning affect my bristlenose or n e other fish for that matter...i want my tank to be free of ammonia as possible 4 all my fish...
I keep my brislenose in a 20 gallon tank with 5 tiger barbs which i hav had for bout 2 years now...Thanku 4 any responses.
P.S. Do u know if dropping n algae disk or vegetable at nite would b a good idea...i was worried that my BN wud hav difficulty fingding it

The BN will have no problem finding some food in the tank (mine love cucumber more than anything else). Suprised to hear you've had problems with them though, mine has taken all sorts in it's stride.

I wouldn't do a gravel vac every 2 days, once a week is fine.

I dont think cleaning would be harmful no. But you dont need to do it so often! Once a week is good. If you want to do it a lot then every second day.

Algae disks are great- and no worries, your fish will find them for sure. If not sooner then later.

Id only do a gravel vac twice a week AT THE VERY MOST... As @ombomb says once a week is usually fine

Before i got my bristlenose, i always put water conditioner salt in the tank...So i asked this question because now that i hav my bristlenose, im afraid that my tank still contains salt from my previous water changes...That's why i changed the water yesterday...And is it possible 2 change the water today as well just 2 make sure that the tank is salt free??? If i siphon today, from then on i will clean and siphon the tank once a week as u say because i am only siphoning the tank for wat i tink is better for my BN.
