Can I/do I Place Any Bog Wood/rocks

shouldnt matter either way, make sure you rinse them thouroughly before you put them in the tank though to get rid of any nasties

Been in soak for 3 days now, is that long enough?

Also i have an air pump putting oxygen in the tank, however i have decorated the two flat sides of my Jewel Trigon 190 with Jewel decoratied rock scenes and siliconed them thus only leaving the front arced glass to stick the suckered diffuser however this looks ugly imo so want to use an alternative method. I currently have a blue airstone sitting on the bottom but this too loooks ugly. Any ides of how i can get around this without sticking anything to the front glass or something that looks out of place on the bottom.

Cheers

Have you no gravel on the bottom? My airstone is under the gravel so the bubbles just come up from the gravel and u cant see the unit. x 3 days sounds more than enough :good: any pics of your tank?? Jo xx

Yeah, i have coral gravel on the bottom with a substrate underneath for plants when i place them. I tried that method with the air stone but after a few hours it makes its way to the top again. Where abouts in Essex you from? I'm from Chigwell and it would be handy knowing what LFS you use as i'm still a learner with all this despite colleagues from work being experts. I'll sort some pics out when i place the wood tomorrow.

What I do to keep my airstones down is completely cover it with the substrate and then put a rock or ornamant on top of it to weigh down the airstone
