Can I Clean River Rocks For My Tank.

I have a 20 gallon freshwater tank and while I was at the local river I found some cool looking rocks. I brought them home and cleaned them with a toothbrush and toothpaste (only cleaning product I could find in short notice) But I am wondering if I rinse the rocks off really good can I put them in my tank?

Use 1 part bleach to 20 parts water to clean them, rinse well with tap water. Once they dry they are good to go.

Like the above said 1 part bleach and 20 part water. After i bleach rocks and wood i boil them for about 30-45 minutes. That will eliminate all the bleach and definately make it steril.
