My tank is a 60L, fully cycled (fishless) and has:

3 Platy (female)
6 neon tetras
6 pygmy corydoras

Im just wondering if i can add a few black neon tetras.

I dont mind being slightly overstocked but im just wondering if this is a very bad idea.

Hi, strictly speaking you are already well up to stock allowing for growing room.
Female platy get quite big, up to 2", and neons just over the inch.

So that is 12" of fish right there. Plus 6 pigmy cory = around 4" total

Grand total 16" of fish in 13 gallons. (1" 0f adult fish to a gallon, 'rule of thumb')

Good filtration and regular water changes will keep your peacefull stock happy however add more fish like black neon (which again are shoaling so 4-6 is advised) will overstock you

IMO. nice stock as it is :good:
