hi my current tank is 30 gals, it has one blue araca, 2 yellow electrics and a silver shark. So my question is can i add more fish?

Im thinking of some these

Blue Ram
Bolivian Ram
oscar

are any of theses compatable, or maybe u can give me other sugestions

NO!

The silver shark ill get way to big for it. The oscar would eat all the other fish alive. Also you should only keep one type of ram. Electric yellows would also harm the rams. And not to mention you keeping those fish together is unhealthy. They need diffrent water types. You really need to resurch the fish you want to get. Get rid of the yellow labs and the shark, then ask around forums and proven knowledge able lfs' to see what you could keep with that araca.

Oh my. Is you signature up to date? I hope not. Those zebras would rip apart those fish you want, and in such a small tank probebly kill the other fish as well. They are some of the post agressive Mbunas. Plus they need a 50 gallon! Yours is 20 gallons less.

In a 30 gallon those africans would do fine. No south american cichlids. Plus blue acuras get big I heard. Silver sharks need a 120 gallon min. Plus they need to be in groups. General rule for oscars is 1 can live in a 55 gallon with a good filtration. In this case research doesnt do anything. You need to get rid of those fish before they die.

ok, i think u mis understood what ive said kinda.

This is whats currently in my tank:

1 blue acara (hes bout 8 cm atm and hasnt seemed to get any bigger for ages)

2 yellow elects

Yeah i never knew of this site wen i started and they funny thing is when u look at my signature 2 red zebras, 1 silver shark, 2 yellow elects, 1 blue acara, i bought all these fish when i first started not nowing a thing about all on the same day i bought my tank (they were all small then)

The Ram i really want is the bolivian ram (looks cool)

ive got a smaller tank, but i dont no if i could keep the elects there i think it is too small, its only 2 foot long by bout 1 foot wide (hospital tank only ever set it up if its needed) If i moved the yellow electrics can i put those rams in with my blue acara.

People seem to forget how slow growing fish are, by the time the shark has outgrown that tank setup the other fish will probably have died. Still though it may be too small.

dont listen to that. That is just wrong to say. That can stunt the fish.

If you want the ram, I would ask in the NW Cichlid section about keeping them with acaras. You definetly should get rid of the bother fish though.

That is wrong to say. Id recommend getting more africans for your tank.

Silver sharks do grow quite slowly but that's no excuse for keeping them in a small tank - especialy seeing as they are active and need to be in groups.

Anyway, I wouldn't keep an acara with german rams but the blue acara only gets to about 6" so it wouldn't get too big. The yellow labs would also be ok in a 30 gallon with your bristlenoses but have different requirements (ie hard water, high pH) to the neotropical acara. I'd move the acara to the spare 20 gallon I believe you mentiones and I'd then get rid of the zebras (which would probably be too aggressive in the 30 with the labs once mature) and shark (which you deffinately cannot keep) and research possible tank-mates for the acara and labs afterwards. Oscars are out of the question. It might be possible to keep certain dwarf cichlids or pulcher with the acara and there are plenty of more peaceful malawi species to put in with the labs, as well as synodontis catfish that would work. Just make sure you research carefuly before considering anything - and no impulse purchases!
