Hay guys,

My female guppy which i think is just pregant is going nuts...not stress but like head butting things and like itching on things? is this bad or good or normal?

if it's flicking aganist the rock and decore then she has parasites which is not good. If you don't have any aquarium salt in the water adding some will help, but you will have to get a medication for her.

The salt won't kill the parasites but it will help in the gill functions and help the immune system which helps to heal against the parasite.

Because its pregnant, treating your fish might kill the fry. You should use some meds with malachite green and/or formalyn/formaldehyde in it.

Parasites is not the only reason for flicking. Like humans, fish can have an itch for various reasons: parasites/disease, reaction to the athmosphere around them (water stats problem), some physical object stuck (like a bloodworm stuck in the gills) or even stress. Prolonged flicking is likely to mean either parasites/disease or a water stats problem, but I would not start any medical treatment until you have pinpointed the exact cause.
