Sorry I meant 1 green terror female and 2 male blue acaras I don’t really want to kill the baby’s so I’ll ask aquarium store if they will take them if not j probably won’t breed them but my green terror pair had just had baby’s and I just love watching the parents take care of the youngDo you have a spare female blue acara or a spare female green terror?
The title says one thing but the sentence says something else.
Blue acaras can hybridise with green terrors but you can't sell the young. Shops don't want green terror hybrids because the young fish can look like a blue acara but kill everything in the tank.
If you want to breed a fish, keep them the same species or kill all the young when they have left the parents after a month or so.
i have a very small pair of green terrors in a different tank and they've had babys so when ther old enough i might move some to different tanks and some of my ponds and i think im going to move the other female green terror in with the blue acaras and try and breed them and then grow them out in ponds and see if they keep breeding in ponds how many of yours breed in pondsWell, if you'd cross a green terror and an acara, I hope it works for you. When I kept those green terrors, they ate the acaras. So, I didn't dare to put another in with those green terrors. At some point, I only had green terrors in the tank. And when they multiplied themselves, the aggression showed towards another. So, they went outdoors in a large tub. They did well outdoors. And the reproduction went on. I was glad that someone from Germany was interested in all of them. Sold them for a ridiculous low price.
Hundreds. The guy who picked them up was allowed by me to catch them all by himself. That took him longer than he thought.how many of yours breed in ponds
