After a long time of waiting, changing stocking and medicating sick fish, I can finally begin to look for a betta!
He'll be sharing my 30L biOrb with 6 male endlers, and I'm hoping to get one of the June Imports from here!

I can't wait! :hyper:

beware my Betta just killed my two endlers, I have got the red black listed there. His Bettas are great and he's a top bloke

The copper black there is stunning.

He is rather nice, but I'm looking at the yellow ones
Honestly, if he's nasty to the endlers, he's nasty to the endlers. If he really beats them up, they can go back into my main tank, but I'll have to get a larger breeding net, or they really do bully my females in there. :(

Yeah it depends on the betta. The yellows are gorgeous too, I had my eye on a stunning one he had but he was sold.

Ahh, you're red one is very gorgeous though!
I'm also looking at Roxy's bettas. She's been getting in some lovely ones lately so I'll be keeping my eye on those too!

Personally I'd recommend Bettasplendens over aquarea, I have 2 males from bettasplendens and 1 from aquarea. Can tell the difference between them. But all depends what your wanting him for etc.
Thts just my personal preference though, they are all still lovely fish :)

my betta is fine with 5 endlers, so fingers crossed. just showed my hubby the link for the bettas and he just said "if u want to get one, then get one"... but as i'm still new to fish i think 2 tanks are enough atm, but i might remind him at a later point... lol

I was a bit more drawn to bettasplendens over aquarea anyway, as he has a lot more choice up. I'm also not very good at bidding, and most of aquarea's auctions end at around 10pm anyway

Hopefully the boy I have my eye on will be okay with the endlers! Fingers crossed!
Ahh, maybe once you've gotten to grips with all your tanks you could get a new one especially for a betta!

theres also bertsbeautifulbettas.co.uk Nicki has had a few from him :good:

I did take a look there, but the site confuses me a little

The yellow I had my eye on has been reserved, but I've found a beautiful blue and orange one which I'm hoping to order very soon! :hyper:
