Yes, although why you'd want to (unless you're planning many generations) I don't know. Much easier to keep to the same tail types.

yes they can, but it would be better to breed ct with ct or vt with vt cuz more people would want to buy them (if that's what you plan on doing with them)

Although there's certainly enough VTs without decent homes without pure/'crossbreeds' being bred... Decent tailtypes with good parentage are easily available.
