Just i put a bowl in my tank yesterday as a means of hiding for any of the fish.

Took about 5 hours before any of them ventured into it, and the cory cats did, soon after the betta went in and chased them out, stayed in there for a few minutes and left.

Now today i added an ornament in which it should favour my cory cats because of the smaller front entrance and space inside. Just dont want my betta to stop them from going in there.

they can be very territorial thats why they're best kept on there own.I think if you had a few hiding holes the territory should be spread out enough.

Bettas can be quite territorial and nippy with other fish. This is often why you see themm living alone!
