Can Anyone Tell Me What These Are?

Aulonocara females stay like that i'm afraid :/ . Unlike Mbuna, its only the males that have the bright colours.

ok just these 4 then ill know what i have once again thanks alot for your help.

was told this was an eatern blue but whats its proper name

and this a red top ice blue zebra whats that???

No problem :)

1st pic is a male Aulonocara
2nd pic looks like your little Lombardoi again (or another 1)
3rd pic is a Melanochromis Johanni
4th pic is a Maylandia Greshakei

No i rehomed the maylandia as aggresssion when he is older would of been a problem ill show you another pic make it easier. See the problem is the aulonocara that you said i had the 2 you said were femal i took pics with the flash off thats what they look like in the tank with just a hint of colour showing through but the one you said was male i had the flash on and he came out like this but in the tank he looks the same as the other 2 so im a bit confused. Same as this pic here he is very pale in the tank but looks like this when i take a pic of it with the flash on.

That is definately a female Lombardoi.

The flash may be distorting the colour of the fish on the other pics. If you want to try taking some more of the Aulonocara, leave the tank lights on but don't use the flash on the camera and we can have another look.

here you go pics of all 3 aulonocara??????

OK, pics 1 and 3 look like females but pic 2 is definately a male. You can tell by the number of egg spots on the anal fin. Hope that helps

Yep, no question. Almost certainly a female.

ok so i have
1x labidochromis Caeruleus
1x metriclima estherae
1x astatotilapia latifasciata
1x pseudtropheus socolofi albino
3x aulonocara peacocks 1xmale 2xfemale
1x melanochromis johanni
1x maylandia greshakei
1x maylandia lombarboi

Is this ok in my tank?

The yellow lab would appreciate at least a couple of pals, they do better in groups. The Aulonocara are less aggressive than most Mbuna and may struggle with the potentially more aggressive fish like the Lombardoi, Greshakei and possibly the Johanni and the Estherae, just keep an eye on things.

I would guess that the Greshakei will be the boss based on the size (he looks to be a fair size in the pics) and they can be aggressive. If they are mostly juveniles, you could be OK but just monitor things as they get bigger.

Yeah he is my biggest couldnt find a small one he is 4" seems to be keeping his self to his self so you think if i got a couple more yellow labs 2 females to go with my male that would be good then???

Also would you say i should get a few more i know there not fully grown yet i have 10 with 2 more labs give me 12 seems to be alot of space for them would you say i could get some more if so how many?

The male/female ratio is not as important with labs so i would just get another 2. If anything you could even get 3 or 4 extra labs but i would leave it at that in terms of stocking and see how things work out.

It is not unusual to have to return Mbuna to your LFS because of aggression issues so if it was me, i would see how things work out with just the extra labs. When they are all 5/6 inches the room will look a lot less, believe me.
