Hello, i'm new to cichlids but experienced with tropical set ups.

I have a very good 150 litre (40 gallon) set up with sand and stones, loads of pvc pipes, a veriety of plants and a huge external filter (with all new sponges, peat, ceramic rings and carbon). I recently lost all my fish in a power cut whilst on vacation and started over again a few weeks ago with a Kribensis pair (one make and one female) and 8 Rummy nose tetra that are thriving in my set up.

The tank is 52 inches wide x 14 deap x 14 heigh.

I'm looking for advice with which other cichlids i can keep with them and my school of rummy nose tetra. I don't want anything that could upset them too much, although i understand squables over territories are inevitable. I dont want anything that could grow large, so it would have to be a dwarf species (no more than 4 inches anyway).

My tank has a constant pH of 6 with zero no2, no3 and KH. My general hardness is about 10od.

Although new to cichlids i'm confident i can cope with most suggestions.

Could you offer some ideas so i can do some reading about them?

Cheers

Bolivian butterflys and keyhole cichlids might be ok but you have to keep an eye on the kribensis as they might consider the entire tank their own.
