i want to get a tall plant in order to cover or partially cover my filter and heater.

i got a 60l tank, about 40cm high,

i would like something colourful and something that would be relatively bushy to cover the filter

thanks

vallis is good, im guessing your lighting isnt great so vallis would suite it nicely ( have you got a rekord 60?)

and vallis grows quite fast and when ive had it it has seent out runners

i have a "t8 15w white" light. i have a combomba plant at the moment

i started off with 2 straight vallis plants that were in a shabby shape and in 2 months they have split into 20 separate plants each with a few runners

I have had far more success with straight vallis as opposed to the corkscrew or twisted variety. Buy more bunches than you think you need as it doesn't go far. I also found that it rooted quicker with some root tabs / balls put in the substrate around it.

:good:

hmm thats sounds a bit complicated. i ony really want about 3 plants, is there anything that i could ue what wont give me algae?
