Can Anyone Id This Hitchhiker

I picked this plant up with my riccia, it spreads like wild fire, but looks quite cool. At the moment im leaving it in my tank to help out do the algae. Each plant is about 2-3 mm accross

You've been Duckweeded or something like that.......

I think its Duckweed thats why its spreading like wildfire.

If you like it keep it, but it's going to SPREAD all over the surface, but with constant removal, I think it would look nice.

Yup i think yer spot on there. I remove most of it every water change but by the end of the week tha tanks pretty full again lol. At least its got rid of the brown snotty algae i had ,either that or zigs idea of overdosing exel .

I didn't read what you wrote at first, and I was looking at the picture for about a minute thinking there was a bug which you were trying to ID in the plants

Haha... as others have said: watch this plant. I've seen layers of it covering over the biggest ponds! I bet it's really good at controlling algae though considering how quickly it grows.
