The shape of the anal fin (more rounded, not pointed), the lack of extended rays on the tail fin (compare it to the male in your avatar, males have long flowing red rays, female can have them, but they are generally shorter), the shape of the head (more rounded) and the 3rd/4th (black) spines on the dorsal fin are not massively extended like a males.

tough one, better pics would help, i would hazard a guess at male but cant be too sure, the anal fin is a little blurred.

If I can get a beter pic I will, don't stay still long enough lol, I would of said male too because the anal fin looks more pointed than the other one.
