I found this advert on Preloved earlier.

http://www.preloved.co.uk/adverts/show/106507121/oscar-fish-and-pleco.html

As it is a newly listed advert you have to pay to contact them, however I have access to do this so if you want me to on your behalf please just ask. It upsets me seeing the photograph, I have wondered how long they have been in there for, seems to be a while.

They clearly state they do not know how to look after them correctly, just thought I would post this here in case someone was interested.

hmm when looking at the fish it doesn't look healthy to me... so sad. too bad i can't take him..

Well, I can't help either, why not see if anyone on this site can help for a few days max, and if no one can help them poor fish we ask if the rspca can help?

Yeah, I am hoping someone see's this that can house them in the adequate tank that this Oscar so desperately needs.

It's a real shame seeing fish in inadequate tanks like that. The seller did say though that they had these fish with the tank so it's the previous owner that is to blame here not the seller. The seller is actually doing the right thing which is always good to see :good:

If I was closer and didn't have a dovii in one of my tanks and a Flowerhorn in my other tank I'd take it. Iv owned 3 tiger oscars and 1 albino tiger Oscar in the past.. Nice fish :)

Completely agree here, they are clearly thinking about the fish and that is fantastic. I do not have suitable housing for these fish otherwise would of taken them myself, so by posting here I am hoping someone might be able to take them out of that small tank.

That oscar is suffering from HITH, according to my LFS its illegal to sell a fish that is visibally sick. Asking £30 for two fish that are almost impossible to re-home (trust me I have many plecs come through me and a few oscars now :(). Its a shame I have an empty 400l tank I could house them in and get the oscar well, depending on how bad the HITH is of course, but I just dont have the funding to get to sheffield and buy them. There is a chap advertising on AC who also rescue's oscars he might be able to help if you contact him, or the south wales fish rescue, or fish rescue and welfare, but all us fish rescue are in the same position of not having the funds to buy fish in need of help :(

I am just hoping someone here might spot this and offer them a home :( I can contact the person on their behalf as I am a member :)
