I have a 55gal and my sword male in there is pecking the guppy females and yes the guppy females are pregnant and have been without a male for awhile. The only concern I have is I don't want the male sword to bother them so much they die.
Can anyone help me?

No one has any answers? Well one of the guppies he was nipping at just died 
R.I.P. Is it because he is the only male in the tank besides a male platie? I am probably going to the store today to pick up some more corys and ottos and gonna get another female pineapple swordie to replace the one that passed. Anyone know how much fish I can add or am I done? The fish in the tank are listed in second post.

Id say your not done stocking that 55 just yet! 
To prevent this from happening again, try adding 4-5 female swordies. This will hopefully distract your male! 
If this desnt work, for the well being of your friendly fish, take him back to your lfs for a trade or store credit. 
Oh, almost forgot, how big are your plecs and what sort are they? Common plecs, or the BN plecs will grow very large and you will find one is better suited to your tank than 3. 
U may have to take 2 back once they start outgrowing their current tank!

New fish list I just spent about 60 bucks on fish lol....
1 angel
2 pot belly mollies
7 platies 3 red wag,4 sunburst(love them)
4 guppies plus 10 5 month old fry (3 females 1 male beauitful red tux I just bought)
7 corys 3 large albinos and 2 smaller about 1/2 size of larger ones also albino, 2 peppered corys planning on getting one more
4 ottos bought one to add to the three
3 upside down cats which if they get big I will move them to a diff tank they are about as big as the smaller albino cories atm
4 plecos 1 rubber, 1 clown,2 m/f pair of albino bristlenose which will be moved to a diff tank
6 swordtails 1male 2f of pineapples and marigold
thats 23 fish not counting plecos ottos or corys

Lol no I added 3 of the swordies a few weeks ago and 3 of the platies i got from another tank and put them same with 4 of the cories and the 2 mollies and guppys.
But the rest I got today yes and the tank has been running since november.
