Can Anyone Give Me Tips For Choosing A Petstore Betta?

Im going shopping today XD i have a cycled tank all ready It's either 1 male or 3 females i think

i'd go for 1 male as females like to be in larger groups than 3.

You want to choose the betta who is the most active, no signs of illness or disease, if they sell them in cups where you go don't choose a betta with a dirty cup
