Can anyone answer this?

I went to a fish shop and saw a fish called a Congo tetra, I knew the fish shop would just sell it to me, i learnt they give bad advice, so I'm asking about them on this site hoping I'll get a answer [emoji846][emoji846]
1st question do they require soft or hard water??
2nd question are they good with gouramis??
3rd question how big does the tank need to be
4th question how big do they go
Please answer, sorry about all the questions. If you don't no what fish I'm going on about I'll put a picture.

I found that in the internet, that's what it looks like. Hope you can answer!!

Congo tetras are a soft water fish. They grow to about four inches, need a four foot tank and need to be kept in groups of at least six, although eight or ten would be better.

They can be a bit nippy, and are very active, so they don't make good tankmates for gouramis, which (although they can be aggressive amongst themselves) are quite sedate and can be upset by a lot of big fish swimming around madly

Fluttermoth has basically nailed it with her post, though they are not the smallest specie to keep and has the usual tetra traits of being quite nippy with certain oher species but nice nonetheless.

Very important that you note its a soft water specie as most tetras are, so be sure your water parameters are suitable for them.
