I posted about this a few days ago with no answers so this post is just going to get to the point instead of beating around the bush.
If I slowly acclimate my common pleco and 3 spotted raphael catfish, can the live happily in water set up for an african cichlid tank.
That tank would have a crushed coral substrate, which I hear brings the ph up over 8. They are currently in a ph of around 7.3 or so. I would try to raise the ph slowly over several days or a week, perhaps by adding a small pile of crushed coral in a low-flow area of the tank.
Thanks for any advice.
