I just wen't out and got a few angels today they look great.

Any type of info that you all could provide to help me in making there new home comfortable for them would be great.

Thanks for the help

Well, I guess no one's replied to ya yet (don't you just hate that). I just posted a similar post about my new pleco I just bought today....not many replies yet, but still hoping.

I have 3 angels now and have also had them in the past. They seem to really like Tropical Flake food and will eat shrimp pellets but don't prefer to in my opinion. They don't hide or anything so that's not REALLY important. They do pair up, did you get 3 or 4? Better an even number, but hey...I only have 3 so who am I to talk. They seem to pick on each other a little bit but nothing major. They do get their fins nipped pretty easily I have heard so it's better to keep them with non-nippers if you can. They don't eat algae or anything, basically they are just pretty and mildly fun to watch!!! Fairly hearty cichlids I suppose. I keep my tank at 78 - 82 degrees F and they do great.....

Good Luck

well All angels have diffrent finnage and names the most common are Marble angels. Angels need to be in high tanks so the grow larger fins. When they breed its very diffult to breed in a community and plus they get very agressive when breeding .

I"ve always had the best luck with angels when I kept them by themselves in a species tank. Larger always seems to be better when it comes to tank size.... plus you can keep more! They seem to choose their mates, and just because you have 1 male and 1 female doesn't guarantee they will breed. I have had 3 pairs that have bred for me in the past, but I always had to artificially hatch the eggs, the parents would always eat them if I left them in the tank.

they each have a personality...and their pretty smart fish
