Hi All

I am trying to dose my tank with King British Alage Remover.

In the instructions its says I need to test the Hardness of my water and the ppm of calcium carbonate to work out the dose

Which test kit do I need to test this. I have the Nutrafin master kit but am unsure which of the tests to use.

KH?
GH?
Calcium?
PH?

Any help appreciated

Thanks

The calcium carbonate will be the Alk, or KH test. If it mentions hardness as well it is likely to be General Hardness.

However, rather than dosing with an algae removal product, there might be better mileage in working out why there is algae and then treating the cause rather than the symptoms.
