Fish Crazy
My tank has been cycling for ages, so I am at the point that I might just flush it and put fish in anyways as there has to be some bacteria by now.
What I noticed is there is now calcium building up on my heaters, then it eventually flakes off and falls to the bottom if I don't catch it in time.
Will this hurt the fish? Would it build up more quickly with the heaters cranked for the fishless cycle? Is there a chemical to combat the buildup? It took over a month to really appear, but now it builds up fairly quickly.
