C02- I'm Stuck!

Hi there!

Just starting to cycle my Juwel Rekord 70 and would like it to be planted. I am going tomorrow to get some chemicals to help it cycle, some more decor and would also like to buy some plants and C02.

But, firstly i don't really know what C02 is apart from it being the gas carbon dioxide.
I have heard that it helps plants stay alive- is this true? is this necessary?
Does it come in different forms?
What is the cheapest, easiest form of C02 and can you tell me what it's brand name is etc. plus how much it is?<<< My main question!

Any advice is great!

For your size tank and lights then a yeast kit will be OK.

I would suggest changing the mix weekly and diffusing via a nano glass/ceramic diffusor (£4 for 2 off ebay)
