If i am going to use Hagen Nutrafin for a 60 gallon tank it says i will need to buy three Hagen Nutrafin.
if i triple the yeast recipe or packages they come with will it make more bubles(C02) elminating the need for 2 more?

also i am going to upgrade from the only 40 watt bulb i have and going to get a 120+ watt so i have at least 2wpg
what 120+ bulb is really bright do you recommend?

The tank is going to be high lighting and have C02 what other plants besides riccia i am sure i am going to use on flooring do you recommed, and is really cool looking?
thanks -_-

unless you wont to refill it every other day...

just look on ebay for co2 pressuired units.

You will need at least 3-I had 2 running on a 20 gallon. You cannot triple the recipe-you'll have yeast bubbling into the tank!
Personally, after going the Nutrafin route, I'm sure you'll be best going pressurised. 3 Nutrafins will cost around £50-60, you can buy a new JBL sysytem for less than a £110 and that's getting towards the top end of the market. There are cheaper pressurised options. I just replaced my 2 Nutrafins with a JBL system with a solenoid for £154. In the end I 'wasted' the Nutrafin money ( and the Tetra Optimat before that!)as I upgraded to pressurised after less than 3 months!

The nutrafins definately work, but they are high maintainence. I found that I had to clean the ladders regularly (weekly!) as white gunk seems to be a by-product of the yeast system. Apparently missing out the bicarb can help, didn't for me though.

Yeh I would get pressurised too, it'll be far easier in the long run.

I am in the same boat as he is.. how much does a pressurized system cost and junk? and how much is a refill? :/

Check the post above, i get my refil from maidenhead aquatics for 13quid

i was looking at the jbl system looks pretty good but how long will that tank last in my 60g
how often will i have to get a refill
also i can't find any place to buy in american so far have any links lol all euros

and if you have a link to the supplies needed to get your own pressurized c02 tanks i would appreciate it also

probably a month or so but im not totally sure on that one, you could always get a pub/welding type cylinder they last years in some cases and are cheap to fill.

i found a website that tells me what i need for a c02 tank system

what do you mean pub/welding type cylinder?

also do you know any sites that sell 48" 120-200watt tube lights for the current hood i have

Dont think you can get 48" bubls that are 120w, T8 bulbs that are 48" are 36w. If you want 120w you'll need to have several bubls.

By pub cylinder I mean, instead of getting the small 500g cylinders that you normally get for aquariums, you can get a pub CO2 cylinder, they can be 20lb so you get tons more co2 and it lasts longer

Sine my current ligh is only 40 watts and i need at least 2wpg to grow plants well and am probly going to get CO2 injections do you think i should buy this light fixture?

48" Satellite 2*65W Sunpaq PC w/Lunar Light
