I was wondering what most people do when there mix runs out. Do you make a mix a day or two before and just let it sit out in the open?

I change mine by the calendar, not by when it looks like it needs changed. On the given day for a bottle change I mix it up, and it is producing bubbles within an hour.

I change my mixes at night as soon as the lights are off for that day, this gives the fresh mix time to build up a head of steam for the next lights on session the following day, but my mixes generally start bubbling in the tank within the hour anyway...............and i never let the mix run out, always have a fresh on the go well before that happens.

Same as zig. Mix it up the night before the bottle is scheduled to be changed, hook it up as soon as i get up the next day, usually 4 hours before lights on.
