I have been using the D+D 500cc bottles to supply Co2 to my tank, They do not last that long and I am now looking to obtain a larger bottle.

What size do you use,
how tall is the bottle+regs.
How much did you pay for it

many thanks

Ob1

390g - hasnt lasted too long either.

the bottle with reg is about 14" tall.

The reg and needle vlave cost me £50... the bottle was 7.95 - but the CO2 isnt disolving :dunno:

I have a 10 pound bottle with a CO2/PH controler. at 20ppm its lasting me about 18 months.. without the CO2/PH controler it lasted only 6 months..

about 30" tall, should last me a while, heres a pic:

ps thanks for the pic

Its a rented bottle, cant remember exactly but I think I pay about £14 for a full one, then when its empty I give them it back and they give me another full one for £14. Contact your local gas merchant they should rent them out, I was advised to rent one rather than buy. That bottle will most likely last me well over a year! :)
