Bye Bye Fishie

I came home this afternoon to discover one of my red platy females had died....she had been acting odd for a few days and her belly was slightly sunken in (as opposed to typical platy fat)...she had been in a tank with aquarium salt and she appeared to be getting better (she had been more active in the last few days)

I have had my fair share of fish deaths but I still feel sad about losing her.....she was one of my original 6 platies (4 of which survived cycling, 3 of which are still alive)....she was mother to many fry (both caught and eaten by other fish) and was always a happy girl

Bye bye fishie...heres to hoping your trip to the big pond in the sky is as rewarding as the pleasure you gave to me
