Buying them pregnant

I am going to buy a preg platy

Should I put her in the tank with the other fish or in my hospital tank for a while first (to give birth)

also, is it a good idea in the first place to buy preg fish?

I don't recommend buying already pregnant fish but I have before. The thing is, you don't know when she's due so it's kind of hard to tell when to put her in the breeding tank. If you want to get a pregnant platy, then go for it. just, if she's really pregnant then put her in your birthing tank.

first what size is your hospital tank??? i would put her in the hospital tank first because if you put her in her home she'll like it to much then moving her before her babies it will be way to stressful for her and she'll abort the fry
