i have notices alot of beautiful bettas on this site over the last couple of weeks. the trouble is all these bettas are from the uk. does any one know if it is even possible to buy a betta from another country and have it shipped to the us. or do the poor little things have to sit in some sort of isolation before they make it to there new owners loving hands. or would the long trip be to stressful for the little guys?

If you wanted to order a betta - or any fish, for that matter - from overseas, it would be best to look into a Transhipper.

Hi
Have you looked on Aquabid? The majority of bettas on there are ship USA only. They list the transhippers details on the listings, but obviously this adds to the overall cost. Mind you, there are some great fish at great prices on there.
We have bought through aquabid from a Thai seller and had the fish sent by EMS straight to us. The cost worked out at about £45 for two bettas (feathertails). They arrived safe and well in three days :good: However, you should have an import license to do this........Sssshhhhh.

Constantine nearly always has really nice babies :good: Zafira just got some from her.

i have seen constantine on here quite often. i already have three betta's who get quite annoyed by the lack of time i spend with them.
i would just one day i would like to try other bettas besides vail tails. (even though i love my betta mutts)

Yep, constantine's fish are LOVELY! They are  worthy!

my problem is i don't have the room for another five gallon lol. each of my three bettas has there own five gallon tank and heater, (even if they are all off for the summer.)
even the guppy the only non betta i own is in a 2.5 gallon tank. either i get a bigger room with more plugs or i have to move to accomidate all the bettas lol.
