When buying a product to remove chlorine is it better to get a liquid or a blue powder type one?

The one i have been using is a blue powder type one and seems to work fine, all it says on the packet is 'water conditioner - add 1 tsp per 10L of water'. its just one of those snap lock bags, the store must buy it in bulk then sell it in small snap lock bags.

Also, is water conditioner just the same as a chlorine remover?

A lot of water conditioner products i see, just come in plastic bags, and are the blue powder type. all some of them say is 'water conditioner' nothing else. how can i know what it does?

Thanks

ive never seen the powder type before. i would be guessing they work the same though. if the water conditioner isnt some sort of special one, i think it would remove chlorine. anything you add to the water can be a conditioner
