Buying a Tank

New to the tropical fish, would like to get a new tank.
Don't know who makes good reliable tanks can anyone help

Does the quality of material / glass used to make the tank change between the different manufactures or is it only build quality.

Maybe a silly question but can anyone direct me to reviews on fresh water fish tanks.

I have always had All Glass tanks, but recently my LFS has started to stock Krislin (sp?) tanks instead, they say that theyre built as good or better than the All Glass, and are substantially cheaper. A 50 gallon All Glass they can get for 68 dollars, and a Krislin they can get for 46. Their price of course, before their markup.
