is there any good places around thetfoed or on the internet that sells good bettas for not to much because the 2 places around me that ive brought them from have died and none of them look good quality

Just don't buy the ones form mainland europe or america, narrows you down but your not going to get nailed for importing livestock without the appropriate licence

Devon Charm sells them too, aka The Betta Lady, go to www.thebettalady.co.uk for her site, they are imports but she is legal and she checks them to make sure they are settled before selling them on. Worth a look.

thanx but i found one at my lfs today its buittful its a dark red and was only 3.50 and looks really healthy and a lot happer than it was in the tank a the lfs that was no more than 1g

what temp should the tank be i cant remember if its 27 or 28

It doesn't matter what country you are buying from you still need a licence.
