Well im buying a used 90 gallon tank with the measurements of 48x24x18, and it comes with 2 filters, a stand, gravel, a light with 2 light bulbs (one blue, and one flourescent) and 2 oscars. How much do you guys think this tank is worth?

Fully grown oscars - $20 each
Used 90 gallon - $100
2 filters - $ 50 - $100
Stand - $100+

Purchasing a fully setup and cycled tank - priceless

Honestly, I'd pay $500 for the setup, which is probably no where near what it's worth, especially if the stand is wood, but I'm cheap like that and I wouldn't really want someone else's fish 0.o

I paid over $400 for just my 55G set-up...and we went reasonabley cheap.
WalMart tank, Petco stand, gravel, and fish.

it depends though if thats a second hand tank. In my book second hand goes for half the original price of not less.

It really depends on the condition of the tank. If it's spotless than I vould give around 300 dollars.

PS: Ethos what is CCotFF *confused*??
EDIT: apparently I tipped in pounds and I ment dollars

I'd not pay more that £100-£150 max for it. Regularly see 4*2*2ft tanks for around the £50 mark, albeit without filters fish or lights.

But that's just me!

Where on earth at :( i paid £60 for my 45G with a stand and diy hood with a feckin 18W bulb (".)

Wow; I didn't expect to be on the high end of this bid, lol. I still say I'd go up to $500, depending on the quality of everything. I think, even if it's used, paying a little extra money for something that's already set up and doesn't require additional purposes is fair.

Search my local free ads, www.trade-it.co.uk, for "fish" Top of the second page for example, you have

"FISHTANK 6ftx2ftx2t with stand, lid, lights, fish & accessories, £100 for quick sale.01934 830428 NC Yatton."

See what I mean? These come up all the time round here.

I think I had posted in a previous post that I got my 4ft tank from a local newspaper ad with all the equipment minus a filter for £25.

the deals are out there you just need to look everywhere

Clueless: if you look in the supemart newspaper or the scotads paper there will be something that pops up now and then.

It cost me $1,400 this summer for a NEW 90 Gallon Setup.
