Hey,

I lost the Albino BN (from other thread a couple of days ago) last night. I went back to my LFS with dead fish and sample of water :D They tested it, the water was perfect, so i dont know what killed the BN.. But they gave me some credit towards another fish as they had no more albino BN's.

So... I decided on something a bit different and went for this little Butterfly Pleco! I think its L52? Something like that. Anyway, he is really cute!!! Do you like him? :D

Gorgeous ! yep sure looks like an L 052 to me

He's a nice one then? I dont really know what they should look like as i've never heard of them before  He's really friendly by the way, i put my hand in the tank earlier to move something and he came up and started swimming around my hand... I think he was trying to eat me

Deffinately an L052, ID'd it myself. Butterfly plecs are really nice, I nearly bought this guy a few weeks back. He does seem to be quite a friendly one. Always out and about at work....

Shame about the Albino BN, he was fine in the shop for weeks, and the 2 I got from the same batch are fine... :( Glad Rob sorted you out with some credit etc. though.

Hows your Zebra plec doing Ben?! :D

This guy is lovely isn't he?! He was a bit more than i'd planned to spend, but with the credit it was a bit better! It is very strange about the albino. He was fine, eating and swimming around, then i just found him dead last night when i went to turn the lights off :( The water was all good though so i guess its just one of those things.. :/ Hopefully this one will last a bit longer! My big BN is doing well so thats a good sign! :D

Digital Run - He was £25, but i got a bit of a discount and some credit back from the one i lost so he only cost me £13 today! :) And he's not as big as he looks... About 3" or so i guess, but im not good with measurements!

L52's are great! I have 5 of them and they are always out and about. Try them with a peice of cucumber...they go nuts for it!

I give my BN cucumber so i'll put some extra in for the new one! :D

Here's a few more pics now that he's settled in a bit..

Checking out the bogwood

wallmart had hillstream loaches marked as butterfly pleco's. That's why I was confused.
