Hey all
I’m wondering if anyone can help me. My molly is approximately 6 or 7 months old. It’s in a tank with 2 other Molly’s and a glow fish. No one appears to be picking on it. It’s not acting strange or anything and is eating well. However it has developed brown bumps.
Our water perimeters are all good. I don’t know what’s wrong but these raised bumps concern me.
Any ideas
I am including a pic

Hi and welcome to the forum :)

Can you post some pictures of the fish showing the sides?

How long has the tank been set up?
How often do you do water changes and how much water do you change?
Do you gravel clean the substrate when you do a water change?
Do you dechlorinate the new water before adding it to the tank?

What sort of filter do you have?
How often do you clean the filter?
How do you clean the filter?

What are the tank dimensions (length x width x height)?

What is the GH (general hardness) and pH of your water supply. This information can usually be obtained from your water supply company's website or by telephoning them. If they can't help you, take a glass full of tap water to the local pet shop and get them to test it for you. Write the results down (in numbers) when they do the tests. And ask them what the results are in (eg: ppm, dGH, or something else).

Are there any other fish in the tank besides the 2 other mollies and the glofish?

How long has the fish been like that for?
Have you added anything new to the tank in the 2 weeks before this started?
Did you do anything to the tank just before this started?

The fish seems to have gotten worse. As I said our water is all running at right levels. The temp is 72 f. Only the 2 Molly’s, and glofish.
Water change every week. 10 gallon tank 20x10x10. No other fish showing any unusual signs. No other bumps.
Tank set up since November. Cycled for a month before adding fish
Aquatec filter suitable up to 20 gallons

If the pictures are too big for the website, set the camera's resolution to its lowest setting and take some more. The lower resolution will make the images smaller and they should fit on this website. Check the pictures on your pc and find a couple that are clear and show the problem, and post them here. Make sure you turn the camera's resolution back up after you have taken the pics otherwise all your pictures will be small.
