Bump On Front Of Zebra Danio's Mouth...

I've had my danios for 6 months or so. One of them has had a small bump right at the very front of its mouth (on the lower jaw). It's round and white and looks sort of like a pimple. Seems to be getting larger, but doesn't seem to affect him/her in any way. Is this something serious, and if so, how do I treat?

I would treat it as something serious... Is it possible for you to post a pic...

I'll try to get one when I get home from work. I don't have the best digicam though, and we all know that Danios never sit still

hi, i had danios for months and they often had this white bump on the lip - only happened to the largest most aggressive 2 though and i never did find out what was wrong, they always acted normal and always ate - had to take them back to the lfs though as they wer ripping my guppies fins to shreds - the lfs had no probs taking them back - sorry cant be more help - try to speak to you lfs....

If there no white stands coming out of the pimple I would treat it as bacterial.
