Hey all, saw these cute little buggers a while ago and they've always caught my eye. Well I now have a 6gallon tank that I want to set-up just for the bumblee bee gobies. Any information on them would be appriciated. I know they are low-end brackish water. So what SG would be good for them? 1.005? Also, how many do you think I could have in the 6 gallon, I was hoping atleast 6.

I'm not an expert, but I've had 14 of the little guys for about six months now. They're great! I think 5 in a 6 gallon would be the upper limit, and mine get along well with ghost shrimp too. If you're going to put 6 in a 6 gallon make sure you've got plenty of plants/caves so they can carve out territories and get away from one another. I've got 14 in my 30g sump, but that's also part of a 85g system (they're in the sump). They're pretty peaceful, fearless, and they're actually pretty active. My sg is 1.005 and that seems to be going well. Also, they won't take flake so expect to feed them live/frozen. Mine take frozen bloodworms and mysis shrimp readily.

Check out nmonk's faqs on them, it's pretty conclusive.

Good luck!
