my dwarf gouramis are getting picked on by my platties. i spoke to my LFS who suggested i get some male platties (as i have all female) as they are probably picking on them cuz they are'nt getting any.... could this be the case. all my water stats are fine and it the tank in my sig so is not over-crowded. thanks guys

Lol ,a male will keep them busy chasing them around, how big is the tank in gallons, do you have lots of hiding spaces.

yeah its it planted at the back and there is a few caves. it 96ltrs so about 21 us gallons i think. dont want to get rid of platties or gouramis but the platties every now and then have a go at the gouramis. is it worth trying some male platties out? im open to all suggestions am getting desperate now! ps thanks for quick response

I would if you can cope with fry, i will distract them, as the males tend not to let them out of there sight much,lol, one male to every 3 females, good luck.
